CRUSTACEAN NATIONS - TECHNICAL DESIGNER

An RTS game where you control an army of crabs to take over the world. This simple RTS was a school project in a simulated game studio environment.

MY ROLE

Technical Design, Team Vision, Systems Design, Level Design

My role in this project has been to make sure the team has a unified vision of the game, so that we are all working towards the same end goal. I have worked to accomplish this through my documentation, in team meetings, and by being very present in build, so that we have strong communication, and a cohesive plan.

Designed and all units for the game to be implemented by programmers.

Designed boss pit mechanic that interfaced with other key systems.

Created level design pipeline for maps to be mapped, and sculpted to terrain.
